mountune Performance's mk3 Focus ST Induction Kit consists of a cast aluminium low-loss crossover duct, available in a painted satin black finish (with a detailed fins and logo). Also included are a mountune silicone coupling hose, two high quality stainless steel clamps, and can be supplied either with or without a mountune high flow air filter.

Technical:

Comprehensive evaluation of the mk3 Focus ST OE air intake system revealed the primary restriction being the OE plastic crossover pipe, as well as the OE air filter.

mountune's engineers have developed a revised cast aluminium crossover pipe with smooth air flow characteristics and no internal obstructions, which improves intake air flow directly into the turbocharger. When coupled with the uniquely designed mountune air filter with dual inlet, the mountune induction kit will provide increased air flow, improved engine response, and increased power.

To help maintain the original vehicle’s NVH quality, and as there is no performance benefit, mountune have elected to retain the OE coupling hoses and connectors where possible.

    Beautiful bit of kit and sounds great.

    Fitment is perfect, K&N filter makes a great sound (particularly if you have the RS airbox lid). Very straight forward, fun and easy install. The only negative is that the optional silicone hose to the airbox should be included. It really finishes off the install nicely. All round it’s an excellent product.
